How To Become One
06.08.2021
06.08.2021 | "During long practices of observing one another, instantaneous copying movement and various tasks on maintaining very strict physical relations whilst moving through space, we became interested in progressively abstracting the body itself. Constantly morphing into other versions of ourselves, we began to create illusional creatures that visually merge our two bodies into one hybrid body." Nina Richard and Jennie Boultbee

02.08.2021 | Nina Richard (Switzerland) and Jennie Boultbee (England) are the second group in our residency centre. For the next 2 weeks they will be working on the project "we made a solo". At the beginning of their research was an interest in developing a shared practice that would enable them to communicate successfully with their bodies rather than with language. How can we co-exist in one space? How much do we have to let go of our own identity and self-image in order to move forward in pairs; and then what is our shared identity? We document their work here in the journal. | www.jennieboultbee.myportfolio.com/work
