The showcase was divided into three different parts on the theme of 'Time & Memory'. The short performance was followed by an audience discussion.

The second part of the residency has begun! Additional to dancer Claudio Costantino and Angela Demattè, dancer Anthony Ramiandrisoa is now also part of the residency.

On 20 January 2023, a showcase will take place in the Alte Reithalle Aarau and on 21 January 2023 in the Kurtheater Baden.
Admission is free for both showcases.

Kids Company

The Kids Company 'Hand und Fuss' had the opportunity to train with Javier Rodriguez Cobos on Thursday, 8 December. On Thursdays and Fridays, kids aged 10 to 13 train hip-hop and contemporary with various dance teachers.

Javier Rodriguez Cobos works with dancers Claudio Costantino and Angela Dematé for his new project "Time & Memory" at the Residenzzentrum tanz+. How do we perceive time? Does time pass more quickly during pleasurable events? How does our body react to this? He gets to the bottom of these and other questions for his current piece.

As a dancer, Javier Rodriguez Cobos was a member of several international dance companies, including many years with Ballett Theater Basel. He has worked with some of the most important contemporary choreographers worldwide.

He strives to present conventional situations in an unconventional way. Together with four dancers, Javier Rodriguez Cobos will explore and discuss the theme 'Time & Memory' during the residency.
