On 13 December 2023, the event series "Tanz im offenen Raum" took place once again as part of "Endlich Mittwoch!". The show of Hungry Sharks in the Stanzerei in Baden was followed by an exciting audience discussion.
Destination FCKD

Hungry Sharks are currently working on their latest piece called "Destination FCKD". Repetitive movement patterns form the core of the choreography–with their repetition and standardisation they serve as a basis for perception and interpretation. The term "destination FCKD" refers to an obvious and immediatecatastrophe towards which one is heading. The title symbolically stands for destructive factors of our society, which are thematised in the piece.
Hungry Sharks

Choreographer Valentin Alfery and producer Dusana Baltic founded the Austrian dance company Hungry Sharks in 2011. In order to establish the movement language of urban dance styles in theatre as well, the company regularly produces feature-length, urban dance pieces for international performance. Currently, they are working on their latest production at Residenzzentrum tanz+.
