On Saturday, 15 October 2022, Alessandra La Bella gave insights into her current work 'A Study on Falling'. People interested in culture and professional dancers were guests at the Kurtheater in the rehearsal room. After the short performance, there was an exchange with the audience.

Alessandra La Bella is working on her new project 'A Study on Falling'. Together with the dancers Francesca Ciaffoni, Aya Misaki, Francisco Banos Diaz and Pablo von Sternenfels, she is now working on the choreography for the piece, which is scheduled to premiere next year.

Already at the age of 12, the Italian Alessandra La Bella was admitted to the 3rd class of the Rome Opera Ballet School (2004). From 2005 she studied at the National Dance Academy in Rome, and from 2008 at the Royal Danish Ballet School in Copenhagen. She then continued her training at the 'Hamburg Ballett' with John Neumeier, where she also created her first choreographies. From 2011 to 2014 she was a member of the ballet ensemble of the 'Theater Nordhausen'. She then went on tour in China as a guest dancer with the ballet company of the 'Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz'. From 2015 to 2018 she danced with Gauthier Dance in Stuttgart. Until the 2022 season she was a member of the 'Staatsballett Hannover', where she performed in Prélude (Medhi Walerski), Thin Skin (Marco Goecke), Nijinski (Marco Goecke) and Kiss a Crow (Marco Goecke), among others.
